Nagios/Centreon in a FreeBSD Jail
If you plan to setup a new monitoring solution with Nagios 3.3.1 and Centreon 2.3.1, there is a nice Howto around written by Luzi Gustavo. Considering only those dozens of packages needed for a Nagios/Centreon combination, his Howto really minimizes the time needed for your initial setup.
If you walk through it, you simply need to make some slight changes to your apache paths. In contrary there is no need for some sed actions on centreon's install.sh, simply "ln -s /usr/local/bin/bash /bin/bash" and everything's fine. I've also updated the paths considering apache22 and perl5.12.4 within the updated freebsd template.
Ah and if you also run into the problem that you're unable to add contacts, hosts or services within the centreon, have a look at this thread. After you reinstalled pear-HTML_QuickForm, simply restart apache.
