Four days until KDE 4.1 will be released ...

... if you want to believe Andrew Min's post at dawningvalley.com which is also cited by slashdot and forwarded to yigg.

Hopefully this release puts an end to my curiosity, because having read much about the instability kept me from testing any KDE 4.x until now. Since all systems need to be stable and reliable, there was no time, effort and willingness to install that required overlay packages and KDE itself. Maybe the 4.1 is more than just 3.x plus beryl, cute enough for purging the old desktop and those recently increasing switchovers to xfce4 ...

Well, actually I was slightly wrong. KDE 4.1 was released at the 29th July, so I gotta return my fortune teller license. Anyway, the packages are not in portage yet :/ ....
